Your new favorite bar in LA may end up being your three new favorite bars with the opening of Tenants of the Trees in Silver Lake. Purchased over a year ago and following a remodel of the architectural throwback, the eclectic space’s new owners began developing the structure’s unique & attractive multi-concept platform.
Serving as the centerpiece and namesake of the establishment, Tenant of the Trees is “a cocktail bar reminiscent of a secluded mid-century residence with a sunroom & tree canopied patio.” Up next is Out of Order, “an Eastern European inspired music venue unparalleled in its intimate size & audiophile sound system.” And finally, featured around back of the building is Concession, “an outdoor movie theater with curated rotational guest chefs tucked into the hillside.” Not bad options for a converted-gay bar down the street from Los Angeles’ most hipster-saturated Trader Joe’s.
Whether you’re in the mood for a pressed-juice cocktail, an invite-only rock show, or a new food truck out back, Tenants of the Trees offers it all. Following its official opening on September 15th, Tenants’ weeknight hours begin at 8 p.m. and end at 2 a.m., and 1 p.m. to 2 a.m. on weekends. Out of Order is also available for private events most nights of the week. Now head down to Silver Lake, the Brooklyn of LA, to try out all three of these new hotspots-in-the-making.
