Etihad Airways has just raised the bar again. The Airline of The United Arab Emirates has just announced that they will be providing in flight child assistance to its customers no matter what class they occupy on their trip.
The airline has already begun training hundreds of employees to help support the role of “flying nanny.” Already boasting in-flight showers in their Airbus A380, the airline seems to really be soaring to new heights with this announcement.
According to Etihad Airways Vice President Aubrey Tiedt, Nannies will be trained in both psychology and sociology from Norland College in England. As far as services provided in-flight, nanny duties will consist of serving meals to kids, and toward the end of the flight nannies will assist in refilling necessary bottles if need be and provide snacks to children so they can take with them after the plane has landed.
